This is a very well made reproduction we believe is an 8pdr based on the approximate 4” diameter bore. The barrel, wheels and carriage all appear to be professionally made.We do not know anything about black powder cannons real or otherwise and we are selling it as a display item not

recommended for firing tho we understand it had been used

as a “salute cannon” by reenactors.
