Why are the de-milled mortars, rocket launchers etc. generally only available for sale in the museum's store instead of on-line?
Good question.
We are a museum, not a military surplus business.
We feel it is part of the museum visiting experience to be able to browse through what is (undoubtedly) a very unique museum gift shop and perhaps find something that will start or add to your collection.
We have a very limited quantity of these items or it may be the only one we have. It is not likely we will ever be able to replace these collectables. (The era of availability was ending in general and then Russia invaded Ukraine effectively ending the availability of excess or obsolete ordnance.)
